How is Gothia Cup working with the security?

As organizers we do everything we can to make Gothia Cup a safe event. We collaborate with the police and other authorities, but we do need help from our participating teams. Every team leader is responsible for his or her players.

Safety at Gothia Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony is like any other larger event, Gothia Cup as an organizer is responsible for the security inside the arena and the police is responsible for the security outside the arena.

The spectators are visited before entering the arena and we have many officals on site during the opening ceremony.

Gothia cup's own security organisation

Our organisation has a large team that work with security issues before and during the tournament. We have match delegates at the pitches, watching and reporting. We have officials that are security trained at our stands and pitches.

All our schools are approved by the fire department. We work with both the police and fire department in a preventing purpose. On and around our schools we collaborate with security companies that are mobile and monitor the schools.

At Gothia Heden Centre we have a security tower to make the monitoring easier for the police and security guards.
